American Legion Post 87 in Arizona, is the home of USS Arizona Battleship Memorial. The USS Arizona was sunk on December 7, 1941 at Pearl Harbor.
The Post overlooks the Arizona Veterians Memorial on the beautifull Colorado River in Bullhead City, Arizona.

That the purpose of this corporation shall be: To uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America; to promote peace and good will among the peoples of the United States and all the nations of the earth; to preserve the memories and incidents of the two World Wars and the other great hostilities fought to uphold democracy; to cement the ties and comradeship born of service; and to consecrate the efforts of its members to mutual helpfulness and service to their country.
Since our Post 87 AZ was chartered in the American Legion we have been welcoming VETERANS from all branches of our Armed Forces. Today, we continue to welcome all military personnel serving our country. Joining our Post enables you to continue serving your God, Country and Community. Our mission is to implement the goals, aspirations, dreams, peace and blessings for our country, friends and families embodied in our preamble below.
